Dear Chinese Language Class Applicants, According to the latest announcement from the Ministry of Education, effective October 13, 2022, the following are the latest visa application and entry requirements, please follow the relevant regulations to apply.
1. You can apply for visas directly to the embassies with your admission letter and
other required documents.
2. You can enter from all international airports/ports, not only Taoyuan International Airport.
3. The Ministry of Education Taoyuan Airport Team will set up a counter in the arrival lobby of
Taoyuan Airport to handle emergencies and provide consultation services; the service hours
will be from 7:30 to 22:00 in October and from 8:30 to 17:30 from November to December.
4. You are not required to undergo home quarantine upon entry, but are required to conduct
self-health management for 7 days, during which time you can go out if you have no
symptoms and have a negative fast screening within 2 days.
5. Transportation to home quarantine residence after entry.
(1) If there are no symptoms, you can take public transportation, family and friends, or drive
yourself to accommodation.
(2) If you have symptoms, you should perform saliva PCR and take a quarantine cab to your
residence (the quarantine fleet will be charged according to the actual mileage from
October 13)
6. Accommodation:you can stay in a rented apartment or a friend's house or hotel that meets
the requirement of one person and one room (private bath).
7. Students must provide the following information to the school no later than one week prior to
